Published by LGG Industrial

Advanced Sealing, Leader Gasket Technologies and Lewis-Goetz refinery products will be showcased in booth #1159

PITTSBURGH, PA – May 14, 2015 — Joining experts across the refinery industry, Lewis-Goetz is pleased to have a presence at the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturer (AFPM) 2015 Reliability & Maintenance Conference and Exhibition, taking place May 19-22 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. Lewis-Goetz, the industrial distributor will be joined by affiliated manufacturing companies Advanced Sealing and Leader Gasket Technologies to provide industry expertise and exhibit a full array of proven refinery-focused products and solutions in booth #1159.

In conjunction with the show, David Clover, marketing manager at Advanced Sealing, will lead industry experts in a professional development workshop titled “ERRIC-Based Sealing Protocols for Leak-Free Performance.” The session will cover the root causes of flange leakage, and the simple engineering principals, material and procedural changes that result in reliable leak-free performance. The track will give participants the tools and resources to be able to quickly incorporate these improvements into their facilities.

“With our cutting edge sealing technology and other solutions engineered for the refinery industry, Lewis-Goetz specialists work to lower our customers total cost of ownership, enabling them to differentiate themselves in the marketplace,” said Don Evans, president and CEO of Lewis-Goetz. “At the 2015 show, we’re excited to showcase our solutions-oriented approach and our expertise in identifying challenges, determining a solution and implementing it in cost-effective ways.”

A standout solution is the ALKY-ONE gasket, which utilizes the latest breakthrough in sealing technology for Alkylation units. Its unique features ensure it will seal quicker and tighter than any other Alky-gasket service. ALKY-ONE uses two different methods to seal evenly across the flange surface, reducing internal flange erosion and preventing external release of hydrofluoric acid, even maintaining its sealing in the event of a fire.

The AFPM 2015 Reliability & Maintenance Conference and Exhibition includes keynote addresses, technical and management presentations, discussion groups, structured question and answer sessions, and an exhibition of products and services. Presentations focus on improving reliability in the refining and petrochemical industry. The exhibition, held in conjunction with the conference, will give attendees the opportunity to meet and talk with representatives from companies offering a variety of products and services to the refining and petrochemical industries.
